Student retention is a campus-wide effort. To help us better understand sources of student dissatisfaction and provide support to students more effectively, the Retention Committee would like to know about students who are expressing unhappiness with their St. Lawrence experience and possibly considering withdrawing/transferring.

If you encounter a student who expresses dissatisfaction and is considering leaving St. Lawrence because of it, we hope you will raise a "Retention Concern" flag in Starfish. Our goal is not to invade students’ privacy, but to help ensure that we as a community work to meet students’ needs and help them make their experience what they hoped it would be when they accepted our offer of admission. If you know the student would be open to having a discussion about their St. Lawrence experience, please note that in the flag so that one of the co-chairs of the Retention Committee can reach out to them as well.
